Is A PRP Breast Lift Right For You?
What is a PRP Breast Lift?
The PRP Breast Lift is a non-surgical, zero downtime, breast rejuvenation procedure. It uses the plasma from your natural blood cells to stimulate collagen production, which in turn lifts and fills out atrophied or sagging breasts. It also improves the appearance of wrinkles in the chest area, fills in stretch marks, reduces the appearance of veins and improves nipple sensitivity. While it doesn’t yield the drastic improvements of a traditional surgical breast lift, it does provide women with firmer and shapelier breasts, for a fraction of the cost.
Benefits of PRP Breast Lift
- No scalpel
- Virtually Painless
- No Scarring
- No Risky Anesthesia
- No Recovery Time
How It Works
Blood is drawn from your arm using a routine venipuncture procedure. Plasma Rich Platelets (PRP) are separated via a centrifuge and extracted. The PPR are then combined with Hyaluronic Acid (HA) fillers and injected via a fine needle into the breast and areola. These platelets contain cells that are known to stimulate the production of collagen, the body’s natural filler. The procedure takes around 15 minutes to complete and results last up to 2 years.
Brief History of PRP Therapy
PRP therapy has been in use since the 1970’s. It gained widespread attention in the 1990’s as an alternative treatment for musculoskeletal injuries in athletes. Today it is used, not only in cosmetic procedures, but also to treat many forms of chronic pain.
